HGTV offers many smart ideas for designing bathrooms for kids. You might not think about it when considering remodeling your bathroom, but when you add kids into the picture, there are certain things you should give thought to before putting in a new sink or tub.
“…if you are planning on living in your house for over 5 years and planning a few pregnancies, remodeling a bathroom is a good idea…with fixtures and cabinets and sinks for a shorter arm reach. Install your toilet in a space that’s 42 inches across, instead of the typical 30 inches between wall and cabinet — it’s a whole lot easier for an adult to assist and to get those little tushies up on the pot with more space around it…“
